Questions we get asked

What happens to my keys?

They go on a coded tag with no address on it, so nobody who found them would know where they belong. They are kept securely between visits and returned to you when you are home. TODO: add specifics from the key handling procedure once reviewed.

Are you insured?

TODO: insurer, policy types (public liability, care custody and control, key cover) and cover level. Not published until confirmed.

Are you DBS-checked?

TODO: DBS level and date, once confirmed. We will show you the certificate at the meet-and-greet.

What if my cat is unwell?

We contact you straight away and, if you have given us your vet's details and your instructions, we follow them. We would rather over-report than under-report. TODO: review against emergency protocol.

Can you give medication?

Simple medication such as tablets or drops, yes, once you have shown us how at the meet-and-greet. Everything given is logged on the visit report. Injections are for your vet.

What happens if my cat doesn't come for food during the visit?

Some cats hide from visitors. We leave their food out, stay the full 30 minutes and let them come to us, or try their favourite treats and toys. We'll ask what works at the meet-and-greet. If your cat doesn't eat while we're there, the visit report says so.

What if I need to cancel?

Tell us as early as you can. TODO: cancellation and deposit wording from the terms.

How far ahead should I book?

As early as you can, especially for school holidays and Christmas. Same-week requests are welcome, and we will tell you straight away if we are full.

How far do you travel?

We visit within a mile of home as standard, so we are never late and never rushed. Up to a mile and a half, we quote you a price. Send us a message if you are not sure.

Do you look after other pets?

Not at the moment. We only do cats, and we do them properly.
